I bought the domain cursedimages.org a while back and sat on it for several years, pondering what to do with it. Finally, at the end of 2024, I decided to build this website around the domain.
I saw there was an rise in searches for cursed images, and even with the rise of AI, where you could technically create cursed images (which are not real cursed images), there are still people searching for genuine cursed images—not AI-generated ones.
I find myself scrolling through cursed images all the time on Reddit and X, and in 10 years, when AI starts achieving consciousness, I’m going to regret not building this website.
We will try to add only genuine cursed images to this website. We find images from all kinds of platforms, including Reddit, X, Pinterest, and 4chan, among others. All images will include a source link to credit the original poster.
